Phil Hughes

Phil Hughes is a Principal Consultant at PTC since July 2016, with a career progression through various consulting roles at the company. Prior experience includes serving as a Project Team Member at the University of Notre Dame, where Phil designed and built an autonomous robot and coordinated multi-team engineering efforts. As a Research Assistant in the Department of Physics, Phil researched heat and mass transfer effects, created motorized mechanisms using CAD, and analyzed finite element methods. Phil also worked as a Verification Analyst at C-SWARM, where project leadership involved data conversion and code testing, and previously managed a tutoring program at The Learning Path, training tutors and overseeing sessions. Phil began as an Academic Tutor at Kumon North America, Inc., teaching K-12 students in mathematics and reading. Phil earned a degree from the University of Notre Dame between 2012 and 2016.
