Kasey Hearns

Kasey Hearns currently serves as a Course Assistant at New York University, providing support to professors by grading assignments for over 30 students weekly. Since January 2016, Kasey has also worked as a Chef at Wakemia and has held the position of Elite Chef at PTL Events since May 2011, contributing to a full-service catering and events staffing company with national reach. Kasey holds a Master of Arts in Food Studies from the NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development, and previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Retailing and Consumer Science from the University of Houston. Additionally, Kasey completed a Plant Based Nutrition Certificate from the T Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies and the eCornell program, alongside obtaining a degree in Culinary Arts from the Institute of Culinary Education.
