Gordon Stewart

Gordon Stewart has worked in the software engineering field since 1989. Gordon started their career at Wavelink, where they founded and served as VP of Development. During their time there, they designed and developed the company's flagship product and created client software for various portable data terminals. In 2008, they moved to Volt Technical Resources and worked as an SDE3 on the Microsoft MSAuto Partner Response Team. Here, they supported the development and integration efforts of Tier 1 partners and worked with the Windows CE platform. In 2010, they joined BSQUARE as an Engineering Manager, where they implemented SCRUM, Test Driven Development, and Continuous Integration. In 2011, they moved to Smartwhere as a Senior Software Developer, and in 2014 they returned to Smartwhere as a Senior Software Engineer. Here, they worked on the client-side and developed software for iOS and Android. In 2018, they joined United Through Reading as a Senior Software Engineer and created a mobile application for iOS and Android. Most recently, in 2019, they joined PTO Exchange as a Senior Software Engineer and worked on a SaaS application hosted on Amazon Web Services.

Gordon Stewart began their educational journey in 1983 at the University of Washington, studying Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Gordon then attended ITT Technical Institute-Seattle from 1984 to 1987, where they earned an Associate of Applied Science in Electronic Engineering Technology. Gordon continued their studies at Western Washington University from 1987 to 1989, although they did not receive a degree.
