Isham Omar

Isham Omar is a seasoned professional in the oil and gas industry with extensive experience in well completion and intervention engineering. Currently serving as a Staff Completion Engineer at PTTEP since March 2023, Isham is focusing on well completion matters for shallow water projects and the Golok P&A for CCS development. Prior to this role, Isham worked as a Completion & Well Intervention Consultant at Halliburton and VEG, and held various engineering positions at BG Group, Talisman Energy, and PETRONAS. Isham's career began at PETRONAS, progressing through roles including Workover Engineer and Well Services Engineer, where a strong foundation in well integrity management and completion planning was established. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Engineering in Petroleum from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
