Korn Saranyasoontorn

Korn Saranyasoontorn is a seasoned professional in the engineering and management sectors, currently serving as Vice President and Groupement HBR General Manager at PTTEP since April 2017. Previously, Korn held various leadership roles at PTTEP, including Vice President of Maintenance and Inspection, Offshore Construction Manager, and Team Leader for Subsea and Pipeline Engineering. Korn's experience includes work as Riser and Flowline Lead at BP, where responsibility involved managing the long-term integrity of subsea production systems in the Gulf of Mexico. Prior to that, Korn served as a Senior Engineer at Technip USA, delivering subsea riser systems and providing installation analysis for deepwater projects. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, a Master’s degree from the Asian Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor’s degree with honors from Chulalongkorn University.
