Wanchana Somboon

Wanchana Somboon is a seasoned professional in the field of polymer engineering with over a decade of experience. Currently serving as a Senior Researcher at PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited since November 2016, Wanchana specializes in characterization techniques such as NMR, Raman, and FTIR, and has contributed to laboratory safety through the creation of a safety handbook and the establishment of a digital database for polymers. Prior to this role, Wanchana worked as a Senior Chemist at BST Elastomers from May 2010 to October 2016, focusing on quality control of raw materials and products, along with serving as an internal auditor for ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 compliance. Wanchana holds a Master's degree in Plastics and Polymer Engineering Technology from Mahidol University, completed in 2009.
