Tony Wright is the founder of Texas CMO since November 2023, focusing on strategic marketing leadership and offering fractional CMO services. As the CEO and founder of WrightIMC since September 2007, Tony oversees company operations, consulting, client engagements, and quality assurance. An adjunct professor at Texas Tech University since July 2017, Tony teaches SEO and digital marketing. Additionally, Tony has served on the SEMPO Global Board of Directors and has been an active speaker at various industry conferences, including Search Engine Strategies and PubCon. With previous executive roles at Dexterity Media, Zunch Communications, and Weber Shandwick, Tony has extensive experience in internet marketing and client services, collaborating with top-tier clients across diverse sectors. Tony holds a Master's degree in Mass Communications/Advertising from Texas Tech University and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from John Brown University.
