David Tjaden

David Tjaden serves as the Director of National Service Policy and Systems at Public Allies, alongside a role as a Political Consultant with The Tjaden Group, LLC. With extensive experience in grant management as the Grants and Contracts Officer at the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality, David oversaw significant federal funding processes. Previous roles include Region Director at NEA, where David managed organizing teams and data-driven campaigns, and Director of Volunteer Relations and Training at the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation, focusing on volunteer training and development. David has a strong educational background with an M.A. in Social Studies Education and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Iowa.
