Oleksandr Piriyev has a strong background in the music industry. Oleksandr started their career in 2008, owning and managing their own music-review website, Music-review Ukraine. In 2016, they took on the role of General Manager at UKR Artists Agency. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Music Editor at the Public Broadcasting Company of Ukraine | Suspilne Ukraine, which they have been in since 2017.
Oleksandr Piriyev has a strong educational background in music. Oleksandr attended Lysenko Mykola Music School from 1989 to 2000, although the specific degree and field of study are unknown. From 2000 to 2006, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Music at Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine. Following this, they obtained a Master of Musical Arts degree in Music from the same institution between 2000 and 2006. Continuing their education, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Musicology and Ethnomusicology from 2009 to 2021 at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine.
