Public Counsel
Mayra Lira is a dedicated legal professional with extensive experience in advocating for children's rights and immigration issues. Since June 2013, Mayra has served as a Staff Attorney for the Children's Rights Project at Public Counsel. Prior to this role, Mayra worked as a Staff Attorney at the Immigration Center for Women and Children from February 2011 to April 2013. Mayra holds a Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, obtained in 2010, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from UCLA, awarded in 2005.
