Lauren Golanty has a long and varied career in business and the arts. In 2000, they began their career as an Assistant Director at Steppenwolf Theatre Company and an Administrative Assistant in the Tax Department at Gould & Ratner. In 2002, they took on a role as Interim Marketing Director and Assistant to the Chairman at HomeTouch, now UrbanR2. Lauren also worked as a Dramaturg at Northlight Theatre. In 2004, they became a Managing Director at Appetite Theatre Company and a Research and Client Communications employee at Heidrick & Struggles. In 2007, they began working at Houlihan Lokey as a Business Development, Marketing, and Events employee. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as an Independent Consultant and a Senior Manager, Client Relations at Riveron Consulting. Finally, in 2019, they became a Senior Director of Partnerships at Public Good.
Lauren Golanty is currently enrolled in the Graduate Business & Societal Impact Program at the Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago. Prior to this, they earned their Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Southern California. Lauren also attended New Trier High School District.
