Robert Ward has a diverse work experience in regulatory affairs and stakeholder engagement. Robert worked for the Public Health Agency of Canada as the Director of Border Litigation and Regulatory Affairs since August 2022. Prior to this, they were the Director of Stakeholder Engagement and Regulatory Affairs from September 2016 to September 2022. Robert also worked at Health Canada as the A/Director of Departmental Regulatory Affairs and Manager of Departmental Regulatory Affairs from April 2016 to September 2016 and from July 2014 to September 2016 respectively. Before joining Health Canada, Robert Ward worked at the Pest Management Regulatory Agency from 1997 to 2014. Robert began their career at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada as a Registration Officer in the Plant Industry Directorate from 1995 to 1997.
Robert Ward completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Plant Biology at the University of Guelph in 1991. Robert also obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. Hons) in Environmental Science from Carleton University in 1993.
