Nahar M. al Azemi

Nahar M. Al Azemi currently serves as the Secretary General of the Saudi Health Council since November 2018 and holds multiple board member positions at various institutions, including هيئة الصحة العامة, National Unified Procurement Company "NUPCO," صندوق الوقف الصحي, Saudi Patient Safety Center, and the Health Sector Transformation Program. Previously, Nahar was the Chief Medical Officer at Aldara Hospital and Medical Center and the Assistant Deputy Minister for Hospital Affairs at the Ministry of Health Saudi Arabia. As the Founding CEO of Prince Mohammed Medical City, Nahar played a critical role in its development and operational planning. Nahar's extensive experience in family medicine includes various leadership roles at King Fahad Medical City, where contributions were made to patient-centered care accreditation. Nahar's educational background includes an Executive Master of Health Administration from Washington University in St. Louis and multiple medical qualifications in family medicine and child health.
