Jessica Ward-Ramirez

Jessica Ward-Ramirez serves as the Contract and Grants Manager at Heluna Health, overseeing a significant portfolio of grants, contracts, and subawards exceeding $40 million. Previously, Jessica held roles including Senior Manager of Research, Innovation and Strategy at BrandIQ, where leadership in grant development secured $25 million for workforce development in the green economy, and O’Brien Distinguished Visiting Professor at Scripps College, focusing on multicultural histories. Additional experience includes teaching and educational project management at various institutions, consulting for AltaMed Health Services, and contributing to city governance through positions with the City of Los Angeles and the Office of Los Angeles County Supervisor Gloria Molina. Jessica's educational background includes a Bachelor’s in History and Anthropology from UCLA and a Master’s in History from UC Irvine.
