Dr. Kalyani Nikhare

Dr. Kalyani Nikhare is currently working at the Public Health Foundation of India as a Research Scientist. Dr. Kalyani previously held positions at Sangath India as an ESSENCE Implementation Science Fellow, ICMR - National AIDS Research Institute as a Research Scientist, and the World Health Organization as a Surveillance Medical Officer. Dr. Nikhare completed their Masters of Public Health in Social Epidemiology at Tata Institute of Social Sciences and holds a B.D.S in Dentistry from Sinhgad Dental College and Hospital. Dr. Kalyani has a diverse background in research and public health, including experience in outbreak investigations, district health profiles, and qualitative research.
