Shambhavi Bhagat

Shambhavi Bhagat has a diverse work experience starting in 2016 as a volunteer for an organization called Dristi. From 2016 to 2020, they served as a Chapter Lead in the Mesra Chapter, where they developed strong leadership coordination and project management skills. Shambhavi led various projects focused on women's menstrual hygiene and sanitation, child education, and awareness programs. Additionally, they launched village women into self-employment in the cottage industry business.

In 2021, Shambhavi worked as a Public Health Intern for the Foundation of Healthcare Technologies Society. During this time, they gained experience in the field of public health. Shambhavi also served as an INSPIRE Fellow from June to October 2021.

In 2023, Shambhavi joined DHU Healthcare as a Health Advisor for a short period in March 2023. Later that year, they started working as a Research Assistant for the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) in June 2023.

Shambhavi Bhagat obtained a Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, from 2016 to 2020. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Public Health at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London, from 2021 to 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Shambhavi has obtained several certifications to further enhance their skills and knowledge. Shambhavi completed the "Excel Essential Training (Office 365/Microsoft 365)" certification offered by LinkedIn in September 2022. Shambhavi also obtained the "Project Management: Healthcare Projects" certification from LinkedIn in September 2022.

Furthermore, they completed the "Population Health During A Pandemic: Contact Tracing and Beyond" certification through Coursera in June 2021. In September 2020, they completed the "Foundations of Public Health Practice Specialization" from Coursera.

Shambhavi has also obtained certifications from esteemed institutions such as the World Health Organization (WHO). In May 2020, they completed the "COVID-19: Operational Planning Guidelines and COVID-19 Partners Platform to support country preparedness and response" certification offered by WHO. Additionally, they obtained the "Estimating the burden of seasonal influenza" certification from WHO in April 2020.
