Candice Charles

Research & Evaluation Manager | CA Coalition For Black Birth Justice at Public Health Institute

Candice Charles, MPH, currently serves as the Research & Evaluation Manager for the California Coalition for Black Birth Justice at the Public Health Institute and has previously held the role of Birth Equity Analyst with Cherished Futures for Black Moms & Babies. Prior experience includes positions as a Senior Research Analyst and Research Analyst at Community Health Councils, as well as a Graduate Fellow at the Mayor's Office for Economic Opportunity. Candice's academic background includes a Master of Public Health from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in International Public Health/International Health from New York University. Notably, Candice has also contributed to various organizations, such as Save the Children International and Sanctuary for Families, focusing on research and advocacy in public health and community service.
