Delia Melendrez Gomez

Delia Melendrez Gomez, MPH, CHES, currently serves as a Health Equity & Justice Program Analyst at the Public Health Institute since May 2022, focusing on developing equitable improvement plans for government contracting and procurement processes. Previously, Delia held the role of Health Equity & Justice Coordinator at MLK Community Healthcare, where program curriculum for a health-related internship program was developed. Delia's experience includes leadership as the Executive Chair of the Maternal and Child Health Student Interest Group at UCLA, involvement in various research projects related to health justice and COVID-19 vaccine attitudes, and advocacy work with California Latinas for Reproductive Justice. Delia has a Master of Public Health from UCLA and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach.
