Public Health Madison and Dane County
Jordan-Lindsay Morris-Greer, MPH MCHES, serves as Chair-Elect of the Wisconsin Public Health Council and Board Secretary for the Wisconsin Public Health Association Inc., with appointments beginning in January 2023 and January 2024, respectively. As a Health Equity Coordinator for Public Health Madison and Dane County since January 2020, Jordan-Lindsay promotes equitable public health initiatives. Previous roles include Health Equity Community Health Specialist III at Lake County and various volunteer positions in emergency management and disaster health services. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Health from Benedictine University, with a focus on Public Health Education and Promotion, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Cell & Structural Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Public Health Madison and Dane County’s (PHMDC) vision is “Healthy People. Healthy Places.” and its mission is to “Work with the community to enhance, protect, and promote the health of the environment and the well being of all people.” PHMDC fulfills its mission through its work on environmental health, community health, operations, health equity, and policy. PHMDC is increasing its focus on working with the community to address the root causes of disease and illness by focusing on policy, systems, and environmental changes.
