Justin Svingen is a skilled public health professional with extensive experience in planning and community engagement. Currently serving as a Public Health Planner and Analyst at Public Health Madison and Dane County since August 2014, Justin previously held the position of Mobility Manager at Rock County from August 2012 to August 2014. Justin also directed the Regional Transportation Program at North East Community Center between September 2011 and August 2012, overseeing a rural public transportation system and facilitating communication with local governments and the public. Early career experience includes working as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for Urban and Regional Affairs and as a Planning Intern for the City of Madison Planning Department. Justin earned a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Upper Iowa University.
