Deepa Mankikar

Deepa Mankikar has a diverse work experience in the public health sector. Deepa is currently working as the Director of Public Health Programs at the Public Health Management Corporation since 2023. Prior to this, they held the same role at the National Nurse-Led Care Consortium from 2022 to 2023 where they oversaw various public health grant programs and initiatives, including a CDC-funded Vaccine Confidence Project and a patient engagement initiative. Before that, they worked as a Senior Program Manager at the same organization from 2020 to 2022, overseeing the Safe and Healthy Homes Program and managing a patient engagement initiative funded by PCORI. Deepa also has experience as a Public Health Project Manager and Environmental Health Project Coordinator at the National Nurse-Led Care Consortium, where they managed regional public health programs and coordinated community-based programs in southeastern Pennsylvania. Prior to that, Deepa worked as a Research Assistant at the Public Health Management Corporation, where they supported evaluation activities for various public health programs. Deepa also has experience as a Medical Editor at Eastern Pennsylvania Orthopedic Associates, an Intern-Data Analyst at the National Nurse-Led Care Consortium, and an Intern-Program Assistant at Puentes de Salud.

Deepa Mankikar obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Sciences from Rutgers University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Later, they pursued a Master of Public Health in Environmental and Occupational Health at Drexel University from 2013 to 2015.
