Saerin Cho

Vice Chair at Public Interest Registry

Saerin Cho serves as Deputy General Counsel and Chief Eligibility Counsel at TechSoup. As Chief Eligibility Counsel, Saerin leads the Global Eligibility Team responsible for defining civil society in 236 jurisdictions worldwide and the specific validation processes to verify them. She also represents TechSoup on various global efforts to redefine global civil society and provide technology and other resources to the changemakers across the globe. As Deputy General Counsel, she also advises on general legal matters such as contracts, compliance, privacy, trademark, and taxation.

Saerin received her B.A. in International Studies and a B.A. in Criminology, Law and Society from University of California, Irvine, and a J.D. along with an LL.M. in Taxation from University of San Diego School of Law. Saerin co-founded Amnesty International UCI and the Korean American Bar Association of San Diego (KABA-SD) and has advised many nonprofit organizations.
