Virginia Lam Abrams

Virginia Lam Abrams is a seasoned communications and public affairs executive with two decades of experience working in technology, media, and politics. She is currently Senior Vice President of Government Affairs and Strategic Advancement for Starry, Inc., a wideband hybrid fiber wireless technology company focused on building competitive, affordable, high-quality broadband across the United States. In her role at the company, Virginia is responsible for leading Starry Connect, the company’s digital equity program focused on developing partnerships with public and affordable housing owners to deliver ultra-low-cost internet solutions to their residents. She also advocates for and represents Starry in front of governmental agencies at the local, state, and federal level and engages with policymakers and the public interest community in advancing pro-consumer policies that protect privacy and competition in the broadband marketplace. Virginia also leads media and investor relations for the company and certain business development functions.
