Jazmina M. Castillo currently serves as a Project Coordinator at the Public Law Center's Health Law Unit, where responsibilities include managing the intake process for the Medical-Legal Partnership and AIDS Legal Assistance Project. Prior experience includes a role as Bookkeeper at W.O.R.K.S., where financial oversight for a non-profit affordable housing development was provided, and a position as Research Assistant Interviewer at UCLA's Survey Research Center, focused on HIV/AIDS Risk Behaviors Studies. Earlier career experience includes coordinating children's programs at the Los Angeles House of Ruth shelter. Jazmina holds advanced education from UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs and degrees in Psychology from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, as well as certificates in Real Estate Law and Business Planning and Marketing.

The Public Law Center (PLC), Orange County's pro bono law firm, is committed to providing access to justice for low income residents. Through volunteers and staff, PLC provides free civil legal services, including counseling, individual representation, community education, and strategic litigation and advocacy to challenge societal injustices.
