Tim Isgitt

Tim Isgitt currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Public Media Company since July 2023. Prior experience includes managing the Public Engagement portfolio at Humanity United from June 2013 to March 2022, where efforts focused on driving accountability in human rights issues through media and public policy. Isgitt also held the position of Senior Vice President for Communications and Government Affairs at the Corporation for Public Broadcasting from October 2005 to January 2013, leading advocacy for federal funding. Earlier roles include Special Advisor at the U.S. Department of State and Manager of the Public Affairs practice at Burson-Marsteller. Isgitt began a career in legislative assistance, working for the U.S. House of Representatives. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Government from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Texas A&M University.
