Jorge Pereira

Jorge Pereira has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries. Jorge co-founded and worked as the CTO at Slyk IO, an e-commerce software company. Jorge then went on to co-found Public Mint, where they held the positions of CEO and CTO. Additionally, they founded and served as the CEO of Seegno, a Design, Technology, and Consultancy team, as well as co-founded Wayfex, a global money matching service. Jorge also worked as the Interim CTO at BABB, where they designed the technical architecture for the BABB Platform and wrote smart contracts for the BAX token and token sale. Prior to these roles, Jorge worked at Uphold Inc. as the CTO and Executive Vice President, overseeing technology, product, and operations. Jorge was also a co-founder and CTO of Eufinity Solutions, where they developed numerous ERP solutions for retail and managed development teams. Moreover, Jorge served as Chief Engineer and e-Learning tutor at Competinov, where they designed multimedia content and developed e-learning courses. Jorge began their career as an Investigation Grant recipient at Universidade do Minho, focusing on graphical computing and computer-human interfaces. Overall, Jorge possesses extensive experience in leadership, technology, and entrepreneurship.

Jorge Pereira began their education in 1990 at Escola Secundária de Ponte de Lima. Jorge studied Technical Design, Geometry, Physics, and Mathematics during their time there. Jorge completed their education at the school in 1996.

Following this, Jorge Pereira enrolled at Universidade do Minho in 1996 and pursued a Master's degree in Software Systems Engineering. Their studies at the university included programming languages, systems analysis, and physics. Jorge successfully completed their degree and finished their education at the university in 2006.
