Roel Smits

Roel Smits currently serves as the Group Chief Financial Officer at Public Policy Holding Company since May 2022, focusing on preparing the company for growth and pursuing M&A opportunities. Previously, Roel held the position of Chief Financial Officer for the Americas at Kantar from July 2012 to April 2022 and served as Chief Financial Officer for Africa & Asia Pacific at Kantar from November 2006 to October 2008. Roel was also a Managing Director/Partner at Orthopedics Investments Europe, where a private equity sponsored growth strategy was executed in the orthopedic sector from November 2008 to May 2012. Prior experience includes serving as Sr. VP of Corporate Development at WPP Group and as a Sr. Analyst at HAL Investments BV. Roel Smits holds a Master’s Degree in Finance from London Business School, a Masters in Economics with a focus on Marketing and Finance from Erasmus University Rotterdam, and an MBA in Marketing from Michigan State University's Eli Broad College of Business.
