Vasileios Efstratiou

Vasileios Efstratiou has over 20 years of experience in the energy industry, with a focus on thermal production and power plant operations. Vasileios began their career at PPC S.A. in 1999 as a Dr. Mechanical Engineer in the Gas Turbines Maintenance Department. Vasileios held various roles at PPC S.A., including Deputy Head of Section, Dpt. Head of branch, and currently serves as the Head of branch of Central Aegean Thermal Production in the Islands Power Plants Operation Department. Prior to joining PPC S.A., Vasileios worked as a Consultant at the National Employment Organisation (OAED) from 1997 to 1999.

Vasileios Efstratiou completed their education with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Patras in 1990. Vasileios went on to earn a Doctorate in Metallurgy and Composite Materials from KU Leuven in 1995. Prior to that, they studied at the 7th Lyceum from 1980 to 1986.
