Lak Wai Ng

Lak Wai Ng is an experienced educator with a strong background in social studies and a passion for making a positive impact on students. Currently serving as a Middle School Social Studies Teacher at Public Preparatory Network since August 2022, Lak previously held roles at Ascend Public Charter Schools as an 8th and 5th Grade Social Studies ICT Teacher. In addition to teaching, Lak has extensive coaching experience, including roles as Head Coach for various volleyball teams, where significant improvements in team performance were achieved. Lak also contributed to the development of youth volleyball programs and clinics, demonstrating a commitment to fostering sportsmanship and skill development. Lak holds a Master’s Degree in Secondary Social Studies Education from the City University of New York-College of Staten Island and a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Social Studies Education from Hunter College.
