Jessica Manta-Meyer has worked in the field of research and evaluation for over 20 years. Jessica began their career in 1998 as Program Director at Health Initiatives for Youth - HIFY, where they managed a staff of 10 creating trainings and publications on a variety of youth health topics. In 2005, they became Program Director at Exhale and in 2006, they took on the role of Interim Executive Director and Managing Director at Oakland Youth Chorus, where they managed finance, administration and reporting for three publicly-funded, comprehensive after school programs as well as fee-for-service music education classes at multiple Oakland after school sites. In 2011, they became Managing Director of the Oakland Office, Director, and Senior Research Associate at Public Profit, and also began working as a Research and Evaluation Consultant for Self-Employed.
Jessica Manta-Meyer attended Carleton College from 1992 to 1996, receiving a Bachelor's degree in Latin American Studies. Jessica then attended the Pacific School of Religion from 2004 to 2005.
