Vivian Dai

Vivian Dai is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education, policy advocacy, and research. Currently serving as an Associate at Public Profit since January 2023, Vivian previously worked as a Substitute Teacher at Oakland Unified School District for a brief period. With a focus on educational equity, Vivian completed a fellowship at the Connecticut General Assembly's Commission on Women, Children, Seniors, Equity, & Opportunity, and has extensive teaching experience as a Middle School Science Teacher at Alpha Public Schools. Additionally, Vivian was a Teach for America Corps Member and held research assistant positions at Children First and the Language Development and Language Processing Lab. Vivian's career began with a role as a Software Development Engineer at Capital One. Vivian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cognitive Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
