Maggie Pallone

Senior Vice President at Public Sector Consultants

Environmental policy and protection took root in Maggie as a young child playing on the shores of Lake Michigan. Other summers spent on the rivers and lakes across the state cultivated an appreciation for Michigan’s rich natural resource heritage, and her love of vast, empty beaches and the sound of the waves continue to guide her travels near and far.

Maggie has always enjoyed the challenge of taking a complex problem and breaking down the barriers that prevent agreement and solution, and in her role as a vice president in the firm’s energy and environment practice, she focuses on facilitation of diverse, and often opposing, stakeholders. A policy wonk who thinks clearly and articulates with ease, Maggie is a go‐to resource for clients who need thoughtful strategic counsel on any number of environmental or community issues. Whether it’s an environmental organization or an industry association, her relationships with the private, nonprofit, and public sectors are invaluable to clients trying to navigate thorny public policy matters.

Maggie comes to PSC from state government, most recently as deputy director for the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality. There, her primary responsibilities included crafting policy briefs and legislation, and managing relationships with external stakeholders. She also directed the department’s communication and marketing programs.
