Todd O’Grady

Director of Outreach for Michigan Saves at Public Sector Consultants

In his youth, while working with his dad, a tradesman, Todd discovered he had a natural skill for connecting with others and developing relationships. As a teenager, he found another natural proclivity one summer while working with the Youth Conservation Corps in Michigan’s Hiawatha National Forest — a love for the environment and the preservation of natural resources. Todd combines these two things — relationship building and environmental stewardship — at PSC as a senior program consultant.

Todd’s work with the firm is exclusive to Michigan Saves, a PSC‐managed multimillion‐dollar nonprofit that finances energy‐efficiency projects for homes, businesses, and public institutions. In this role, he coordinates with utility companies, trade associations, financial partners, and other key stakeholders to implement and promote Michigan Saves programs statewide. He handles recruitment and training of over 600 skilled contractors, offering confidential and impartial business counsel. As the leader of quality assurance efforts, Todd ensures that all projects maintain the highest standards of workmanship and customer service.

Before coming to PSC, Todd taught earth science and building trades at the high school and community college levels for over 15 years. He currently serves on the boards of the Great Lakes Renewable Energy Association and the Michigan Energy Efficiency Contractors Association.
