Whitney Emerick has extensive experience in marketing and communications. Whitney started their career as an Account Executive at the Better Business Bureau of Southern Colorado, where they successfully met sales quotas and engaged in community relations. Whitney then worked as a Brand Manager and Account Executive at Focus on the Family, managing multiple brands and overseeing internal advertising and graphic needs. Following that, they served as the Manager of Web Development and Marketing at AAA Oklahoma, handling online marketing strategies and winning national awards for marketing innovation. Whitney also worked as a Senior Manager of Marketing and Communications at the Society of Exploration Geophysicists, managing marketing channels to an international audience. Whitney later became the Director of Online Marketing in North America at op5, where they expanded the company's brand and developed marketing programs. Whitney then took on the role of Marketing and Membership Director at the Petroleum Equipment Institute, where they promoted products and enhanced the organization's brand. Currently, they are the Director of Corporate Communications at Public Service Company of Oklahoma. Throughout their career, Whitney has provided consulting services to various companies, assisting with marketing development and brand positioning.

Whitney Emerick completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Marketing and Management (double major) from Oklahoma State University, from 1984 to 1989. Later, they pursued further education at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, where they graduated from the Institute of Organizational Management in 2014. Whitney Emerick also obtained the certification in Effective Sponsorship Across Difference (for Protégés) from LinkedIn in August 2023.
