David Gerlach

David Gerlach is a Senior Energy Trader at PSEG, with experience since August 2007 managing the PJM hedge portfolio through various trading strategies, including power and natural gas futures contracts. Gerlach actively monitors market fundamentals to optimize portfolio value and minimize risk and has contributed to significant regulatory efforts regarding price formation in electricity markets. Prior to this role, Gerlach served as an Associate Energy Trader and an Energy Supply Specialist, consistently exceeding profit and loss goals. Before joining PSEG, Gerlach was a Project Manager at LaFrance Corp, overseeing projects in collaboration with major clients such as Microsoft and General Electric, and managing manufacturing operations in China. David Gerlach holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Bucknell University, obtained in 2004.
