Drew Klingner

Director, Major Gifts at The Public Theater

Drew Klingner is the current Director of Major Gifts at The Public Theater. Drew has previously worked as the Manager of Individual Giving at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and as the Associate Director of Individual Giving at Roundabout Theatre Company. Drew began their career as an intern in company management at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.

Klingner is a skilled fundraiser, with experience in soliciting five- and six-figure gifts. Drew has developed communication and solicitation strategies for capital campaigns, and has successfully grown revenue lines for mid-level membership programs. Klingner has also led volunteer leadership councils, comprised of 50 mid-level donors dedicated to helping the organization raise additional funds.

Drew Klingner has a Bachelor's Degree in Theater Studies and Public Policy Studies from Duke University. Drew also has an Arts and Media degree from UCL.

They work with Patrick Willingham - Executive Director, Tam Shell - Art Director, and Kate Murray - Casting Director. Their manager is Jeremy Adams, Managing Director.
