Laura O'Connell

Laura Ma O'Connell is a seasoned project executive currently at DBI Projects, specializing in project management and real estate advisory since June 2023. With extensive experience in capital projects, O'Connell has held significant roles at The Public Theater and Barnard College, where responsibilities included directing capital projects and overseeing facilities. Previous positions include senior project manager at NYU Langone Medical Center, where management of a large off-site ambulatory space was key, as well as director of capital projects at Teachers College, Columbia University. O'Connell's career began at Columbia University and includes experience as general manager at Vineyard Theatre. O'Connell holds a BS in Anthropology from New York University and studied at The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art.
