Peter Dean

Peter Dean is an experienced production professional with a robust background in theater management. Currently serving as the Director of Production at The Public Theater since March 2023, Peter has held various significant roles in the industry, including Interim Director of Production at Manhattan Theatre Club and Director of Production at 2nd Stage Theater. Previous positions include work at STREB and Berkeley Repertory Theatre, where Peter gained extensive experience in production management. Peter's career began in freelance capacities, focusing on production management and creative consulting, and includes a role as Lead Ride Manager at The Ride, Inc., where Peter developed logistics for a theatrical bus tour. Peter holds a BFA in Performance Theater with a focus on Acting and Directing from Otterbein University.
