Mieke Bervoets

Mieke Bervoets currently serves as a Consultant in burgerzaken at Public Vlaanderen since January 2024, focusing on innovative approaches in the public sector. Prior to this role, Mieke worked at DUO for a JOB as a Mentoring Program Officer from May 2019 to December 2023. Mieke's earlier experience includes serving as a TOP coach at CAW Antwerpen from March 2011 to April 2019, where responsibilities involved mentoring first offenders aged 18 to 25 reintegrating out of prison in Antwerp. Mieke began professional career at ZNA, holding positions from July 2003 to February 2011. Academically, Mieke obtained a Master of Science in Criminology from Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 2015 and completed a bridging program in Criminology at the same institution from 2012 to 2014, along with education at Encora Antwerpen from 2018 to January 2020.
