Prashant Yerramalli

Prashant Yerramalli is an experienced legal and regulatory professional currently serving as Vice President of Regulatory and Operations at Public since June 2023, where responsibilities include developing new products and advising on regulatory strategy for broker-dealer and investment adviser compliance. Prior to this role, Prashant was a Senior Research Fellow at NYU School of Law, focusing on securities regulation and corporate governance. Prashant's experience with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission includes serving as Chief of Staff and Counselor to the Chair, providing senior advisory support on agency operations, enforcement, and rulemaking. Additional roles include Head of Compliance and Regulatory Legal at Brookfield Asset Management, and various capacities with the SEC's Division of Enforcement. Prashant's legal career began at Jenner & Block and involved significant litigation and investigation experiences. Education includes a JD from Harvard Law School and an AB in Public Policy from Brown University.
