Pedro Vasques de Almeida

Pedro Vasques de Almeida currently serves as the Head of the Information Technology Department at Público, a position held since January 2023. Prior to this role, Pedro was an IT Specialist and Project Manager at Público comunicação Social SA from July 1999 to January 2023, where responsibilities included managing the Outsystems infrastructure and supporting media applications. Additionally, Pedro worked as an IT Specialist at Sonaecom from May 2004 to November 2013. Educational qualifications include a Graduate degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and a Graduate degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering, both obtained from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto between 1994 and 1999.
