Bill Hammond

Bill Hammond is an Assistant General Counsel at Publix Super Markets, where they lead a legal team advising the Walmart Health & Wellness business on regulatory compliance and government investigations. They previously held various roles at Publix, including Sr. Director of Regulatory Legal and Litigation. Bill started their legal career at Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP, advancing from Associate to Partner, and later worked at Nuyen, Tomtishen and Aoun, P.C. as a Shareholder in Health Law. Bill earned a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Colgate University and graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School.
