Matthew Ash

Matthew Ash has had a diverse range of work experience in the field of systems engineering. Matthew started their career at Bealls, Inc. in 2004 as a Retail Systems Engineer and later became a Technical Analyst Leader. In 2010, they joined Publix Super Markets as a Sr. Systems Engineer in Retail Desktop Engineering, and then progressed to the role of Principal Systems Engineer in the same department. Matthew also worked as a Principal Systems Engineer in Network Security Engineering and Network Modernization. Currently, they hold the position of Principal Systems Engineer 2 in Network Design at Publix Super Markets.

Matthew Ash holds a Master's degree in Cybersecurity from the University of South Florida, which they completed in 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the same university in 2011. Matthew has also earned several certifications, including AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate (obtained in November 2019), AWS Certified Developer - Associate (obtained in July 2019), AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (obtained in April 2019), and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² (obtained in March 2019).
