Phani Pandrangi

Phani Pandrangi is the Vice President of Product at PubNub. Prior to joining PubNub, they served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Product Officer at Kii from January 2011 to April 2022. In this role, they were responsible for product strategy and development for the company.

Pandrangi began their career in 1998 as a Development Manager at Savvion. Phani then became a Senior Developer at Datasweep in 2003 before joining Software AG as their Director of Product Management in 2006. While at Software AG, they were responsible for product management of webMethods BPM, webMethods Business Rules, and webMethods Content Service Platform offerings. Under their leadership, webMethods went from being a virtual non-entity to a leader in the BPMS space.

In 2011, Pandrangi joined Kii as their SVP & Chief Product Officer. In this role, they were responsible for product strategy and development for the company. During their time at Kii, the company became a Gartner Cool Vendor in IoT Platforms in 2018.

Pandrangi currently serves as the Vice President of Product at PubNub.

Phani Pandrangi received their MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business in the field of Business Administration. They also received their MS in Computer Science from Oregon State University and their BE in Computer Science & Engineering from Osmania University.
