Gregory Palmertree has a range of work experience across various companies and organizations. Gregory started their career as a Marine Security Guard in the United States Marine Corps from 1997 to 2000. Gregory then worked as a System Administrator & Help Desk Lead in the Marine Corps from 2002 to 2003. From 2003 to 2011, Gregory worked at the Marine Corps Intelligence Activity, where they held the roles of Server Team Lead and later Chief Technology Officer. Following this, Gregory joined the U.S. Coast Guard as Chief of the Office of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Systems & Technology from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, they worked as the Membership Chair at ISC2 Quantico Chapter concurrently with their roles at the Defense Intelligence Agency, where they served as Chief, Global Cyber Security Division, Chief, Infrastructure, and later as a Senior Expert for Insider Threat. In 2016, Gregory joined iSenpai, LLC, as the Vice President of Operations until 2017. Lastly, they are currently a Partner & Consultant at Pueo Business Solutions LLC from 2017 onwards.
Gregory Palmertree obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Management in Computer Information Systems from Park University in 2007. In addition to their degree, they also hold several certifications including Certified Information Systems Security Professional from (ISC)2 which they obtained in November 2006. Gregory also has certifications related to Microsoft, including Administrator, ITIL v3 Certification, Microsoft Certified IT Professional: Enterprise Support Technician, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Security (MCSE), and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS).
