Gloria Arroyo de León has a diverse work experience in various positions related to project management and maintenance. Gloria is currently serving as the Executive Director of Automation and Preventive Maintenance at Puerto Rico Aqueduct & Sewer Authority. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Manager at COR3 | Central Office for Recovery, Reconstruction, and Resiliency. Before that, they held multiple roles at Puerto Rico Aqueduct & Sewer Authority, including South Region Compliance Auxiliary Director, South Region Maintenance Program Director, and East Region Maintenance Program Director. Gloria also has experience working at FEMA as a Project Specialist, where they were responsible for preparing FEMA Project Worksheets and ensuring compliance.
Gloria Arroyo de León obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez from 1993 to 1999. Gloria later pursued further education and earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Puerto Rico, completing their studies between 2010 and 2012. In addition to their degrees, they hold a Professional Engineer (PE) certification from CIAPR Colegio de Ingenieros y Agrimensores de Puerto Rico, which they obtained in May 2017. Gloria also holds a Validation Certification from Colegio de Ingenieros y Agrimensores de Puerto Rico, obtained in February 2016.
