Tom Debord

Tom DeBord has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Tom has held various leadership positions throughout their career.

Starting from their most recent job, Tom DeBord currently serves as the President & CEO of Puget Sound Kidney Centers, where they are responsible for the overall management and leadership of the organization.

Before that, they worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Overlake Hospital Medical Center, where they were responsible for operations, patient/physician/employee engagement, process improvement, and growth of the hospital.

Prior to their role at Overlake Hospital, Tom DeBord was the President of Summa Barberton & Wadsworth-Rittman Hospitals at Summa Health System, where they had fully integrated P&L responsibility for two hospitals.

Tom also served as the Chief Operating Officer at Summa Barberton & Wadsworth-Rittman Hospitals and Barberton Hospital, where they played a key role in directing various departments and overseeing operations.

Earlier in their career, Tom DeBord held leadership roles at Barberton Citizens Hospital and Barberton Citizens Hospital, Owned by Quorum Health Group (QHG), where they were responsible for clinical and support services, managed care contracting, and general accounting.

Throughout their career, Tom DeBord has demonstrated strong leadership and expertise in healthcare operations and management.

Tom DeBord completed their education at The University of Akron. Tom earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting in 1985. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Finance, completing it in 1992. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification as a Fellow from the American College of Healthcare Executives in 2007.
