Carolyn Downs possesses extensive experience in records and information management, currently serving as a Senior Communications Specialist at Puget Sound Regional Council since September 2014, where responsibilities include overseeing the agency's records and information management program. Previous roles include a Records Management Specialist at King County, where Carolyn developed project plans for deploying Laserfiche Classic, and at King County Metro Transit, focused on the digitization and indexing of personnel files. Additional experience includes positions at Snohomish County, Seattle Municipal Archives, and internships at the National Archives and Records Administration and San Francisco Public Library. Carolyn holds a Master of Library and Information Studies and a Master of Archival Studies from The University of British Columbia, along with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Sociology.
