Eric Byun has a wealth of experience in the food industry, particularly in research and development. Eric started their career at Pulmuone Co., Ltd. as a Manufacturing Process Technologist and later became a Senior R&D Researcher. Eric then worked at CJ Freshway as an Assistant Manager of Product Development. Eric joined Pulmuone Foods USA, Inc. where they held various roles such as Sr. R&D Manager/Supply Chain Coordinator and R&D and Plant Manager. Eric also worked briefly at Pulmuone Wildwood Inc. and Monterey Gourmet Foods Inc. as a Sr. Manager of R&D and Operations. In 2012, Eric returned to Pulmuone Foods USA, Inc. as the Director of R&D, Head of Product Technology Center. Eric later became the Director of R&D and Quality at Day-Lee Foods. Currently, they hold the position of VP of R&D (R&D Division Manager) at Pulmuone Foods USA, Inc.
Eric Byun obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Applied Microbiology from Yeungnam University in the years 1987 to 1994. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Microbiology, General from Chungnam National University from 1994 to 1996.
