Kaitlin Mogentale is an accomplished entrepreneur with a strong focus on sustainability and innovation in the food industry. Currently serving as Founder and CEO of Trashy, launched in April 2024, Kaitlin leads the development of the first-ever Upcycled Certified chip within the $46.7 billion upcycled foods market. Previously, as Founder of Pulp Pantry from September 2019 to April 2024, Kaitlin focused on transforming agricultural waste into nutritious, shelf-stable foods, notably through a line of organic vegetable chips. Kaitlin's early experience includes roles in business development at LA Kitchen, a social enterprise, where initiatives included diversifying revenue and creating new product lines. Kaitlin’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Southern California, complemented by studies at The University of Queensland.
